DCD Assist Dublin Fire Brigade [ 6/Jan/10]
On the evening of the 6^th of January Dublin Fire Brigade asked Dublin Civil Defence to assist them in reaching areas made inaccessible by the adverse weather conditions. DCD made two Land Rover 4x4 ambulances available and were called upon to bring DFB paramedics to an injured casualty in Howth, where the DFB ambulance was unable to gain access. The DCD crews stayed on standby for a number of hours.
