Tel: (01) 6772699 Fax: (01) 6772511 News AFS crews assisting areas in need [12/Jan/10] 7 units of the Auxiliary Fire Service are out today assisting HSE hospitals and other critical locations in sourcing water while supplies are low. 40 volunteer firefighters from units all over the city made themselves available in the afternoon of 12th Jan 2010 and pumped thousands of gallons of water into hospital's reserve tanks so as to ensure essential supplies did not run out. DCD fire appliances are still travelling to at-risk locations to ensure the needy do not run out of clean water. This practice will continue until the water supply is guaranteed.
