Dublin Civil Defence crews with the assistance of Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue members rescued two males stranded in the Sallygap area overnight

Volunteers were out today to assist Dublin Fire Brigade and the HSE by clearing ice from surfaces at the entrances of fire stations and hospitals.
On the evening of the 6th of January Dublin Fire Brigade asked Dublin Civil Defence to assist them in reaching areas made inaccessible by the adverse weather conditions.
